Based in the UK and Dubai, Cricket Logistics is the ICC’s Official Travel and Tour Provider.  Cricket Logistics is a trading name of UK-based Gullivers Sports Travel www.gulliverstravel.co.uk

The role of Cricket Logistics is threefold:

  1. To make all the travel arrangements for teams and officials for all ICC Events.

Previous events

Cricket Logistics was based in Barbados during the ICC Cricket World Cup West Indies 2007 from where it handled travel for all the Teams and Officials as well as ground arrangements, on land and sea, for all the official supporters tours. Additional travel was provided for media, sponsors and suppliers on request.

The scale of the event is reflected in the list of figures that follows.

  • played 67 matches
  • over 54 days
  • in 9 countries separate by water
  • Cricket Logistics furthermore looked after the travel for 863 broadcasters and media
  • 500 Sponsors and VIPs
  • and 50 Match Officials.
  • Additionally Cricket Logistics arranged travel for almost 10,000 supporters
  • who made their arrangements through 51 Official Travel Agents (From Australia, Bermuda, Canada, Caribbean, Holland, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa, UAE, UK, USA)
  • and distributed  38,000 match tickets
